I’m a senior at Webster University, where I serve as president of the AIGA Student Chapter. My love for design started at nine years old, when I was already sketching layouts and dreaming about creative careers. At first, I thought I’d become an interior designer (I was glued to HGTV), but graphic design eventually captured my imagination! What keeps me motivated are the people I’ve met along the way—mentors, peers, etc. who inspire me and fuel my passion for design. There’s nothing more rewarding than bringing a project from an idea to a finished piece and seeing it come to life.

Outside of design, I spend time at the pottery wheel. In another life, I imagine myself living off the grid near a beach, making ceramics all day. Someday, I’d love to move to Europe—Germany is high on the list. At home, I share life with my cat, Pomelo, whose name comes not from the fruit but from the best OEM color of the MK8 GTI (and, fittingly, the color of his eyes).

Strawberry Milkshakes

My favorite dessert, no matter the weather or my mood, is a strawberry milkshake. There’s something so comforting. It’s like a hug.

Music

Listening to music and driving with the windows down is one of my favorite ways to unwind. I’ll often listen to house, indie rock, and nostalgic 2010s music.

My favorite cafe in St. Louis is Coma Coffee. They have the best strawberry matcha. That’s my go-to!

The Loop!

My favorite place in Saint Louis is the Delmar Loop. I think it's the walkability, plus the shops, restaurants, and activities, that draws me to them.
